Chicken Tikka Pizza

Ingredients:

For the chicken tikka marinade:

  • 500g boneless chicken breast, cut into cubes
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon Kashmiri red chili powder (or paprika)
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1 tablespoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons oil

For the pizza:

  • Pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 small bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • Fresh cilantro leaves for garnish
  • Butter or olive oil for brushing the crust

Instructions:

  1. Marinate the Chicken:
    • In a bowl, mix together yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, red chili powder, ground cumin, ground coriander, turmeric powder, garam masala, salt, and oil.
    • Add the chicken cubes to the marinade and coat them well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight for best results.
  2. Cook the Chicken:
    • Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
    • Thread the marinated chicken onto skewers and place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
